For the seasoning:
- non-stick cooking spray
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano

- 6-8 pita pockets
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
For the filling:
- 1 1/2 pounds of skinless chicken breasts
- 1 large onion
- 3 medium bell peppers any color
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of lime juice
PrepareGather all of the ingredients you need for this recipe and preheat your oven to 425F. In the meantime, coat a baking sheet with some of your non-stick cooking spray, ready for your filling to go onto. non-stick cooking spray
Make the fillingGrab a bowl and add the salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, cumin and dried oregano. Combine until the ingredients are mixed together well. Leave to one side. Prepare the chicken by cutting into strips that are around 3/4" long. Once the chicken is cut, do the same with the onion and the bell peppers and place them all onto your prepared baking sheet. Now drizzle your olive oil over the chicken and veggies and toss to ensure it's evenly coated. BakePlace into the center of your preheated oven for around 25-30 minutes. The chicken should be cooked through and the veggies should be tender.
