  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs

Ingredients for the Alfredo

  • 8 ounces linguini pasta, or pasta of your choice
  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2-3 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, shredded
  • Fresh basil leaves, optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the elements for the crusted chicken
    Preheat your oven to 360ºF (180ºC). Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
    To start, slice your chicken breasts into 4 pieces each. Set the chicken pieces aside.
    Then, in a medium bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, and spices. Set this bowl aside.
    Next, set the beaten egg in another bowl and place it next to the seasoned flour. And finally, mix together the parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs and place this bowl next to the beaten eggs.

  • Crumb your chicken
    Next, you can start crumbing your chicken pieces. To start, dip one piece into the seasoned flour. Shake off any excess flour and dip the piece into the beaten egg.
    Allow any excess egg to drip off the chicken and finally, dip it into the breadcrumb mixture. You can repeat this process if you'd like to get uber-crunchy chicken, but it's not necessary.
    Crumb all the chicken and place them in the lined baking tray.
  • Bake the chicken
    Place the chicken inside your preheated oven and allow them to bake for 10-20 minutes. The exact time will depend on the size of your pieces.
    Before removing the chicken from the oven, test the thickest piece to see whether or not it is completely cooked through.
  • Cook the pasta
    While your parmesan chicken is baking, cook your pasta.
    Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil Remember to season the water with salt and oil.
    Once boiling, add your pasta and cook it according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain it from the water and drizzle it with oil. The oil will help prevent the pasta from sticking to each other.

  • Make the Alfredo sauce
    While your chicken is baking and pasta is cooking, start the Alfredo sauce. Combine the butter and garlic in a saucepan over low-medium heat.
    Once the butter is completely melted, add the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Then, remove the mixture from the heat and quickly whisk in the parmesan cheese.
    Finally, stir in the fresh shredded parsley.

  • Assemble your parmesan-crusted chicken Alfredo
    To assemble this dish, start by mixing together the cooked linguini pasta with your Alfredo sauce. Place a generous portion on a serving plate or pasta bowl.
    Then, top each serving with parmesan-crusted chicken and top with fresh basil leaves.

For this Red Lobster parmesan-crusted chicken Alfredo recipe, you can buy premade Alfredo sauce. Our homemade recipe is definitely superior, but everyone doesn't always have the time to make it from scratch.
If you cannot find linguini pasta, you can use any other type that you'd like. For Alfredo pasta, you don't need to use any specific type of pasta. It's the sauce that makes it unique.
You can play around with the seasoning ingredients used in the parmesan chicken crust. You can either adjust the quantities or add something new entirely.
