Cut the chicken into pieces of your preferred size. You can use any part of the chicken, such as breasts, thighs, or legs. If you are using a whole bird, cut it into pieces that will be easy to cook.
Sprinkle garlic powder over the chicken cubes and mix until all the pieces are heavily coated.
Heat olive oil and butter in a frying pan over a medium heat. Once heated, add your garlic-seasoned chicken slices and fry them for several minutes until one side is slightly browned.
Turn them over and fry the other side for a similar time, until golden brown. Ensure the meat is not pink inside, and fully cooked. Season to your taste.
Remove from heat and serve with your choice of sides.
