Equipment

  • Equipment
  • Small saucepan
  • Ovenproof dish

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 5 kosher chicken thighs
  • 2 large potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/3 cup butter spread (Kosher)
  • Kosher Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Clean kosher chicken using cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Season kosher chicken thighs with kosher salt and black pepper on both sides, until completely covered.
  • Melt butter in a small saucepan, over a medium heat until melted. Once melted, set aside.
  • Brush the bottom of an ovenproof dish with some of the melted butter.
  • Line up kosher chicken thighs skin side down evenly in the dish.
  • Top each kosher chicken thigh with another tablespoon of the remaining melted kosher spread.
  • Put potatoes chunks on both sides of the kosher chicken.
  • Bake kosher chicken thighs for 35-40 minutes, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  • Kosher chicken should be crispy outside, while juicy inside once cooked. Take out one kosher thigh piece to test it before serving.
  • Serve with your favorite side dishes, such as salad.
