- 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 4 Swiss cheese slices
- ½ cup green olives with pimientos finely chopped
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 4 Hamburger buns
- garlic powder, onion powder optional
In a bowl, I mix chopped green olives and mayonnaise. This mixture adds a zesty kick and creamy texture to the burger’s flavor profile.
I shape the ground beef into patties, seasoning each generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. These spices add layers of savory goodness to the beef.
I lightly toast the hamburger buns on a grill or in a skillet. This step ensures the buns are warm and slightly crispy, providing a perfect base for the burger.
I cook the seasoned patties to my preferred level of doneness. I personally love grilling them for that smoky flavor, but pan-frying works great too.
During the last minute of cooking, I place Swiss cheese slices on top of each patty to allow it to melt perfectly.
I spread a generous amount of the olive mayo mixture on the bottom bun. Next, I place the cheesy patty on top and finish with the top bun.
